The comfort of in-home newborn night nursing, with the clinical support of a pediatric care team. Most overnight newborn care is companionship with a baby attached. Ours is a licensed pediatric registered nurse in your home, working inside a clinical structure: defined responsibilities, documentation, nurse practitioner oversight, and an escalation path when something needs a clinician rather than reassurance. "Night nurse" is a marketing term rather than a protected title, and on its own it does not tell you whether the person is a licensed nurse. Ask for an RN or LPN license number and check it. What sits behind the person in your house at 3am is the thing worth asking about.

Not a phone tree and not a callback window. Leslie is reachable, and where it is warranted she comes out to the house with the toolkit. That is the part families mean when they call this concierge care rather than an agency booking.
Every shift is worked by a licensed pediatric registered nurse. Newborn Care Specialist is a different thing: it is a certification rather than a nursing license, and training standards vary between programs. You can verify any of our nurses through the Alabama Board of Nursing in about two minutes, and we will give you the license number if you ask.
Your nurse is not deciding alone whether something is worth waking you for. There is a nurse practitioner behind the case with defined responsibilities, communication standards, and a clear escalation path. That is the part you never see until the night you need it.
Most overnight care watches a feed and tells you how it looked. We can carry out a clinical feeding assessment and use weighed feeds when indicated. That gives you an objective milk transfer measurement rather than relying only on how the feed looked, which matters most when weight gain is a question.
When a household illness concern comes up during care, our nurse practitioner can evaluate it and arrange point-of-care testing in your home for COVID, influenza, RSV and strep, for your baby and for anyone else in the family. Treatment recommendations or a prescription are provided by the nurse practitioner where clinically appropriate. Older children bring things home. That does not have to mean an urgent care waiting room at 9pm with a toddler and a newborn.
You wake up to a written record rather than a verbal summary from someone on their way out of the door. Feeds, volumes, diapers, sleep, and anything worth mentioning to your pediatrician, written down while it was happening.
Built around your baby, your feeding goals and your pediatrician's instructions rather than a standard overnight routine. If your baby came home from the NICU on a specific plan, we work to that plan.
Where it is appropriate and you have authorized it, we can communicate directly with your child's primary care provider. Most overnight care has no mechanism for this at all, which means anything noticed overnight reaches your pediatrician only if you remember to mention it.
Many overnight providers work to a fixed window, because a fixed window is easier to staff. We build the shift around your night instead. Eight to ten hours, on your schedule, with no minimum number of nights.

We do not publish a rate card, because what you need is genuinely different from what the family down the road needs. What moves the number: whether you want nights, days or both, how many a week, the length of each shift, and whether there are multiples or a NICU discharge plan to work to. Tell us your situation and we will send a clear quote for it, with no pressure to book. What we will not do is quote you a low number and deliver a sitter.
